Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information The Grateful Health Coach collects, how I use it, who I share it with, and the choices you have. "I," "me," and "TGHC" mean Chris Attaway Consulting, doing business as The Grateful Health Coach. It covers thegratefulhealthcoach.com, The Grateful Course, the Grateful & Strong membership and community, Grateful & Strong AI at app.thegratefulhealthcoach.com, our free guides, and our emails.
The short version: I collect what I need to run the program and coach you well. I don't sell your information, and I never will.
1. What I collect
What you give me.
- Your name, email, and country when you download a free guide, buy, or join. Some checkouts also ask for your phone number and ZIP code.
- The answers on your welcome form and check-ins, such as your goals, height, weight, waist measurement, how you eat and move, foods you avoid, equipment you have, and simple fitness tests. Some questions are optional, such as recent lab numbers or medications you take for our coaching sessions.
- Your conversations with Grateful & Strong AI, and questions you send me with "Ask Chris."
- What you post in the community or your private coaching room, and what you share on coaching calls.
- Your spouse's name and email, if you add them to your membership.
- Your shipping address, shirt size, and color, if you claim a free shirt.
- Your name, contact details, and order details, if you place a product order through the member order page.
Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. Your card number goes to them, not to me. I see your name, what you bought, and the amount.
What's collected automatically. Like most websites, our pages and email tools record basic technical information, such as your browser, device, pages visited, and whether an email was opened or a link clicked. Cookies keep you signed in and make checkout work. I don't use advertising or tracking tools such as the Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics. If that changes, I'll update this policy first.
2. Health information
Some of what you share is about your health. I treat it with extra care. I use it only to coach you and to make Grateful & Strong AI's answers fit you. I never use it for advertising, and I never sell it.
I'm a health coach, not a healthcare provider, so the federal HIPAA law doesn't apply to TGHC. I still keep your health information private and share it only as described in this policy. Share only what you're comfortable sharing. Optional questions are optional.
3. How I use your information
- To deliver what you bought: course access, coaching, the membership, the community, and Grateful & Strong AI.
- To coach you, track your progress, and send your check-ins and scorecard.
- To send emails about your purchase, your course, and your membership, and, if you've signed up, emails about new episodes, resources, and offers.
- To answer your questions and give support.
- To ship your free shirt and handle orders you place.
- To keep the program safe, prevent abuse, and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
4. Who I share it with
I share information only with companies that help me run TGHC, and only what they need to do their job:
- systeme.io hosts the website, the course, the membership, the community, checkout, and email.
- Stripe and PayPal process payments.
- Anthropic provides the artificial intelligence behind Grateful & Strong AI. Your messages, and the profile details the AI needs to answer you, are sent to Anthropic to generate each answer.
- Namecheap hosts Grateful & Strong AI and our domain.
- Printful prints and ships shirts, using your name, shipping address, size, and color.
- Google hosts our video calls (Google Meet) and some of my business files.
- The supplier who fills your order, if you order a product through the member order page. They receive your name, contact details, and order so they can process payment and ship it.
- Content Creator Machine, my customer relationship manager, holds contact details and notes for people who book a call with me.
I may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of selling or transferring the business, in which case this policy would still apply to your information.
I don't sell your personal information, and I don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.
5. What other members see
Anything you post in the Grateful & Strong community can be seen by other members. Your private coaching room and your conversations with Grateful & Strong AI are private between you and me. If you add your spouse, you each have your own sign-in, and neither of you can see the other's AI conversations or forms.
6. How long I keep it
I keep your information while you're a client or member, and for as long as I need it afterward for records, taxes, or legal reasons. If your membership ends, your Grateful & Strong AI account is turned off and your history is kept so it's there if you come back. You can ask me to delete it any time.
7. Your choices
- Emails: unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link at the bottom of each one. You'll still get emails about your purchases and account.
- See, correct, or delete your information: email me and I'll take care of it, usually within 30 days. If you ask me to delete everything, your access to the program ends.
- Cookies: you can block or clear cookies in your browser. Checkout and sign-in may not work without them.
Depending on where you live, your state's privacy laws may give you more rights. Email me and I'll honor them.
8. How I protect it
The website and app use encrypted connections. Grateful & Strong AI passwords are stored in a scrambled form that even I can't read, and I never ask for your password. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and don't share your sign-in.
9. Children
TGHC is for adults 18 and older. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given me information, email me and I'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. I'll post the new version here with a new date, and for major changes I'll email members.
