The Grateful Health Coach

Terms and Conditions

The Grateful Health Coach · Last updated: October 30, 2026

These terms cover everything you buy or use from The Grateful Health Coach: The Grateful Course (with 1:1 coaching or self-paced), the Grateful & Strong membership, Grateful & Strong AI, the community, our free guides, and our website at thegratefulhealthcoach.com. "I," "me," and "TGHC" mean Chris Attaway Consulting, doing business as The Grateful Health Coach. "You" means the person buying or using them.

By buying, joining, or using any of it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't buy or use them.

1. This is coaching and education, not medical care

I'm a health coach, not a doctor, nurse, dietitian, or other licensed medical professional. Nothing in the course, the membership, the coaching sessions, the community, Grateful & Strong AI, the podcast, emails, or this website is medical advice, a diagnosis, or treatment for any condition.

Talk with your doctor before you change how you eat, start an exercise program, or change or stop any medication. This matters most if you take medication for blood sugar or blood pressure, are pregnant or nursing, have a heart, kidney, or liver condition, or have a history of an eating disorder. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

Results vary from person to person. Stories from me and from my clients describe what happened for them. They aren't a promise of what will happen for you.

2. Exercise and your safety

Strength training, walking, breath work, and the other activities in the program carry some risk of injury. You choose what you do and how hard you push, and you accept that risk. Start where you are, stop if something hurts, and check your equipment, including resistance bands, before every use.

3. Who can join

You must be at least 18 years old. You agree to give accurate information at checkout and to keep your sign-in details to yourself.

4. What you're buying

The Grateful Course with 1:1 Coaching. The 12-week course, six private video coaching sessions with me, a private coaching room where you can message me any day but Sunday, a personal exercise plan, Grateful & Strong AI, and six months of the Grateful & Strong membership. Your six sessions are meant to fit inside your 12 weeks. If life happens and you don't get them all in, you can use the rest for up to 6 months from your purchase date. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a session. A session missed without notice counts as used.

The Grateful Course (self-paced). The 12-week course and three months of the Grateful & Strong membership. It doesn't include 1:1 sessions or a private coaching room.

Course access. You keep access to the course lessons for life, meaning for as long as I offer The Grateful Course online, including any updates I make to it.

The Grateful & Strong membership. Grateful & Strong AI, the private community, the Member Library and member resources, the weekly podcast, and a monthly live call. Calls are recorded when possible. I may add, change, or retire parts of the membership over time, and I'll let members know about any major change.

Free membership months with a course. These start on the day you buy the course and end on their own after six months (coached) or three months (self-paced). You won't be charged when they end. To keep the membership, join before they end. I'll email you about two weeks ahead.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Current prices are on the website and at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. I don't see or store your card number.

Payment plans. If you choose a payment plan, you agree to make every payment. If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 7 days, I may pause your access until it is. Pay-over-time options offered through PayPal or Klarna are agreements between you and those companies.

6. Membership billing and canceling

The membership renews automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose, and your card is charged at the start of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time by emailing hello@thegratefulhealthcoach.com. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Founding members. The first 100 members, or everyone who joins by January 3, 2027, whichever comes first, keep the $47 monthly price for as long as their membership stays active. If a founding membership is canceled, the locked price ends with it. Founding members who join the annual plan get 13 months for their first $470 payment.

Spouses. One membership covers you and your spouse. Each of you gets your own sign-in. Your spouse's access ends when yours does.

7. The 30-day guarantee and refunds

Membership. If your first month isn't worth it to you, email me within 30 days of joining and I'll refund that first month. Annual members get a full refund if they ask within the first 30 days. After 30 days, payments aren't refundable, but you can cancel any time and won't be charged again.

The Grateful Course. If the course isn't right for you, email me within 14 days of your purchase and I'll refund it in full, as long as you haven't used more than one coaching session. Self-paced buyers get a full refund within 14 days. When a course is refunded, the course access and the free membership months that came with it end.

To ask for a refund, email hello@thegratefulhealthcoach.com from the address you used at checkout.

8. Grateful & Strong AI

Grateful & Strong AI is an artificial intelligence assistant built on my course and on experts I trust. It can make mistakes. Check anything important with me or with your doctor, and use common sense. It doesn't diagnose, prescribe, or give medication or dosing advice, and it isn't a substitute for your doctor. Don't use it in an emergency.

Your conversations are stored so the AI can work and so I can support you. Questions you send with "Ask Chris" come to me by email. I may limit use that is excessive or abusive.

9. The community

Be kind. Disagree without being disrespectful. No selling, spamming, or recruiting, no medical advice to other members, and nothing you wouldn't want your pastor to read. What members share stays in the community. Don't copy it outside. I may remove posts or members that don't follow these rules.

10. Free shirts

Founding members, annual members, and course clients may get a free #GratefulStrong shirt when they qualify, as described on the website and in the app. Free shirts are limited to one per person and one per household, ship to U.S. addresses only, and are available while I offer them. Shirts can't be exchanged for cash.

11. Products I recommend

I sometimes recommend products and services from other companies, such as resistance bands, red light therapy, and supplements. When I'm an affiliate or earn a commission, I'll say so. Those products are sold by those companies, under their own terms. I'm not responsible for them, and anything you buy from them is between you and them.

12. What's mine and what you can do with it

The course, videos, worksheets, member resources, recipes, podcast, AI answers, and everything else I provide are for your own personal use. Please don't share your sign-in (except with your spouse, as described above), resell, copy, post, or record any of it without my written permission.

13. Emails

When you buy or sign up, you'll get emails about your purchase, your course, and your membership. You may also get emails about new episodes, resources, and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails any time with the link at the bottom of each one. I'll never sell your information.

14. Ending access

I may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, abuse the community or the AI, share your account, or don't pay. If I end your access for a reason other than a breach of these terms, I'll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

15. Limits of my responsibility

The program and website are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, TGHC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injury or health outcome, that results from using them. If I'm found liable for anything, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to hold TGHC harmless from claims that come from your use of the program, your breaking these terms, or what you post in the community.

16. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please email me first. Most problems can be fixed with a conversation. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If we can't settle a dispute by talking, it will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Volusia County, Florida, or by video. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court in Volusia County, Florida, if it qualifies. Disputes are handled one person at a time, not as part of a class action.

17. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. I'll post the new version here with a new date, and for major changes I'll email members. If you keep using the program after a change, you accept the updated terms.
